A shared world, without running a server at home.
MineBanish is a small, ad-supported hosting service for Minecraft Java Edition. You manage one server from your browser or the Android app: choose a world, add the Minecraft names of your friends, and share a personal address. Hosting happens on our infrastructure, so your computer does not need to stay on as the host and you do not need to open router ports.
Made for sessions with friends
Your account manages the server; your friends join through Minecraft itself. Choose survival, creative or another available journey, adjust the difficulty and PvP, and give operator permissions only to people you trust. The player list supports your own Minecraft name plus up to ten friends. Java and Bedrock are different editions: this service currently accepts Java clients.
Know the limits before you build
MineBanish is in Beta. Features and available versions can vary, and starting a server depends on shared hosting capacity. Runtime is used while a server runs, even with no players, and the server stops when its balance runs out. Stopping does not immediately erase your world, but stopped worlds may expire after seven days since last use. Keep your own world downloads before a long break or a journey change.

Questions people actually ask.
Is it really free?
Yes. Your server is free to use, with no subscription and no hidden fees.
Java or Bedrock?
Java only. Bedrock clients can't connect to Java servers, and that's not something we can flip on our side. Better to say it here than after you've invited everyone.
Do my friends need an account or the app?
No. They need Minecraft Java Edition and your address. You add their names to the whitelist.
Can I choose the world settings?
Yes. Gamemode, difficulty, seed, MOTD and player permissions can all be changed while the server is stopped.
Can I download my world?
Yes, as a ZIP, while the server is stopped. It's a real world download, so you can keep it, back it up, or host it somewhere else.
What do I need to play?
Minecraft Java Edition on your computer, and the address we give you. That's it.
